Resident Meal Plans
Dominican University offers three flexible meal plans consisting of a set number of meals that reset each week combined with meal plan dollars that can be used throughout the semester.
Meal plans cost $2,675 per semester, $5,350 for the school year.
All resident students living on campus are required to select a meal plan option.
Students may change their meal plan during the first 2 weeks of the semester only.
Each time you use your Star Card to purchase a meal in the Main Dining Hall, the Cyber Café or DU To GO it is considered a “swipe”.
Students can use their meal plan swipes in the Main Dining Hall (all-you-care-to-eat), the Cyber Café (for a meal exchange) or with DU To GO by choosing the “DU To GO Combo Meal Menu” .
Meal plan dollars can be used to purchase retail items such as snacks, specialty drinks or additional food items in the Main Dining Hall, Cyber Café or through DU To GO.
Meal plans and meal plan dollars expire at the end of each semester. No refunds will be issued for unused meals or meal plan dollars. Please use your meal plan and dollars throughout the semester to get the most value from your dining plan.
A student may purchase a guest meal using a meal plan swipe or meal plan dollars (the student must be present with the guest).

Commuter Meal Plans
Dominican University’s Commuter Meal Plans are perfect for commuters who spend multiple days on campus offering students convenient, affordable meal options that work with your busy schedule.
Commuter meal plans may be used at the Main Dining Hall, the Cyber Café or on DU To GO.
Plans can be purchased throughout the semester.
All commuter meal plans expire at the end of each semester. No refunds will be issued for unused meals.
To purchase a commuter meal plan, complete the Commuter Plan Sign Up Form by clicking the button on the right.
You can also purchase in person at the STARS Connect Office in Lewis Hall 115.

DU Dollars
DU Dollars are similar to meal plan dollars, in which they are a prepaid dining tender. Unlike meal plan dollars, which are combined with a resident meal plan, DU Dollars are voluntary dollars that you add to your Dominican University dining account.
To purchase DU Dollars:
Go in person to the Stars Connect Office in Lewis Hall 115.
On your mobile device, use the GET App (download with the links below).
On the web here.
Use your Dominican University credentials/SSO to log in.
Students: Add @my.dom.edu to your username.
Faculty & Staff: Add @dom.edu to your username.
DU Dollars can be purchased for students by relatives or family members by following the link below. They will need to enter the Student’s ID number and name.
DU Dollars can be used at the Main Dining Hall, the Cyber Café, or with DU To Go.
DU Dollars are tax exempt, saving nearly 11% on every purchase.
DU Dollars can be added to any commuter, resident, or employee meal plan.
DU Dollars do not expire!
To-Go Container $10.00
Purchase a reusable to-go container for $10. Return your container for clean container, pay for a meal, fill your container, enjoy your meal! Repeat the process! (only one time thru the line with a to-go container)
